Over the Christmas period, I was talked into purchasing my first drone, it was something I had been thinking about buying for some time, but funds never allowed it.

Due to some unexpected extra funds appearing from my company, I was finally in the financial position to invest in this ‘boys toy’.

It has been a huge learning curve for me, what with having to work out how to actually fly the Spark safely, along side battling bad weather conditions (this drone is tiny, weighing in at about 600g, so very prone to being affected by winds) and getting over that beginners fear that the drone is going to fly away every time it’s launched, I have not been able to get out as much as I hoped, but every now and again, conditions have been good for flying.

Below are some of the images I have been able to capture so far, they are not the greatest of images, but I am starting to get more confident and I am hoping this summer will allow me to travel a bit further and get to see some of this wonderful country from some more unseen angles.
